Sales Incentive Items
A sales incentive item is a promotional item that is added to a main product for free. For example, fast food chains often give away glasses when the customer buys a specific menu. The gifts are usually used when new products are launched and aim to animate the end customer to purchase. Other than promotional gifts, sales incentive items always come with a paid product. It has the potential to create a collector’s passion in the customer, who may only buy the product in order to get the free gift. The goal is to increase sales and to create a positive brand image.
